A Call to Activism

By Ian Jobling • 3/5/08

[UPDATE March 25—There’s a new action alert available here that asks readers to protest the white-hating professor James Hal Cone. Go to the action alert archive to see all Inverted World action alerts. If you would like to suggest an activism topic, here is the activism suggestions page">activism suggestions page.]

In order to promote my new efforts at activism, I’ve written up a description of my project that I plan to send to interested parties and post on race realist websites. Please help me publicize my action alerts by doing likewise.

I’m Ian Jobling, and I run the race realist website The Inverted World.

For years, we race realists have participated in online communities where we can read news and commentary and form virtual friendships with people who share our views. The existence of such communities, and the passion of their participants, indicate that there is strong race realist sentiment in America. However, no one has yet found a way to channel this energy into an effective political movement.

I want to change that. That is why I have begun to post action alerts on The Inverted World that supply race realists with ready-made e-mails to send to politicians and other responsible parties. I’ve already posted two sample e-mails for Congressmen on illegal immigration legislation before the House of Representatives. In coming weeks, I plan to post more e-mails on issues of concern to race realists, such as discrimination law, affirmative action, and the representation of whites in the media and textbooks.

Of course, many other organizations allow you to lobby Congress on issues of concern to whites. The immigration restrictionist group NumbersUSA, for example, got its public to send more than million faxes during last year’s amnesty debate. However, only The Inverted World supplies e-mails written from the perspective of race realism, or the recognition that the races are biologically different. My recent e-mails argued for stricter enforcement of immigration laws on the grounds that Hispanics are biologically different from whites and, consequently, are not capable of assimilating into American society.

For example, after a review of statistics on Hispanic crime, education, and welfare use, the last e-mail concluded with these words:

If America is to retain her prosperity and her pride of place among nations, we need a population that can live up to the high standards that made this country great. We need educated and morally responsible taxpayers, not more criminals, high school dropouts, and welfare users.

And that means we need to encourage Hispanics to leave.

You won’t find anything like that on NumbersUSA.

So far about a dozen hardy souls have sent out the e-mails I’ve posted, so we’re scarcely dealing with a mass movement yet. Nevertheless, the success of our online communities makes clear that the potential for a mass pro-white political movement exists. Beginnings are usually modest; causes grow because of the courage and persistence of small minorities who initiate and promote them.

I have not yet leased an automated faxing system, such as most online lobbying organizations use. However, I will invest in one if I see enough interest in my project to justify the expense.

I believe, perhaps immodestly, that there are few, if any, people other than myself who are capable of bringing such a project to fruition. I am fortunate enough to be able to devote myself to writing and activism full-time, and I have the combination of web design and writing skills to get the job done.

I have my own interpretation of the race realist project, and I have been critical of views that I find mistaken and harmful. Vigorous debate over principles and practice is necessary for any movement. However, it is equally necessary to forget our differences sometimes in order to work together for mutual benefit. I am eager to find common ground with people whom I have criticized; I hope you will feel the same.

We all know that disaster is looming for the white race in America. Our population is on the brink of demographic eclipse, and everywhere we see our culture and heritage mocked, abused, and vilified. Writing angry messages on websites is a grotesquely inadequate response to this portending tragedy. If we are to preserve our people, we must begin making our voices heard in the halls of power now.

I hope you will join me.

I have a suggestion for the action alerts: target areas that no other interest group will. I realize that NumbersUSA alerts will not approach their FAXes from the same angle, but they are nonetheless sending them en masse and doing a fine job. It seems like we should channel our limited resources to other issues not being addressed by Ward Connerly and Roy Beck. For instance, I once wrote a letter to my local PBS station in response to a shameful documentary on hip hop that overtly blamed whites for the success of the more detrimental “gangsta” elements of the music. My letter detailed that this blame was unfair scapegoating of whites for the ills of the black community, and would be unacceptable if it treated any other race the same way. I also threatened to withhold my donations to the station should I see more offensive material against my people. The letter was forwarded to all the top execs there and I received an official response telling me how valuable my opinion was to the station.

Also, I think our language in general needs to be more focused on the welfare/interest of whites and less on the “scourge” of other peoples in our midst. Mr. Jobling once remarked that we should stay away from gratuitous slurs, and I couldn’t agree more. Personally, I have found it very effective, and received the best response to my message, when I phrase our problem in terms of the basic need/desire of all peoples to want to associate with their own kind. One doesn’t even have to talk about genes to acknowledge this. “Diversity” destroys the fulfillment of this need, along with the general trust a community has for one another. Just look at all the research these days that is confirming the inevitability of ethnonationalism, including that of the liberal professor Robert Putnam. I think this mentality should pervade all or our activism. It is the most receivable message, and one the most white people will be ready to accept. Rather than focus on one group as a problem, it invokes the right of all peoples to decide their own destiny and live in communities that represent them, a sort of “universal nationalism.” Referring back to the “Philosophical Roots of Activism” article, I would argue that this concept should be a large part of our “root.” That, along with simply focusing on legitimizing the ethnic interests of whites. See the National Policy Institute’s website for a good, concise justification of fighting for our interests, just as any other group currently does.

I think you make a strong point in your your first paragraph. (I’m not so sure about the second one, but I’ll think it over.) I’d gladly address issues like your PBS documentary in action alerts. The problem is that I’m probably not going to be aware of them. There needs to be some way of alerting me first.

One way of handling this problem would be for me to set up a special page where people could post suggestions for activism—kind of a simple, one-page forum for this topic that would look a lot like a typical IW article page. I’d post the link to this page prominently on the home page.

Also, if you guys want to send me action alerts for me to post, I’ll gladly do it. Nothing delights me more than when other people do my work for me.

So tell me what you think.

“Hispanic” is an ethnicity. It includes whites, blacks, indigenous, mestizos, zambos and all the shades in between.

Yes, we know that TGGP. Your point?

Dr. Jobling, (sorry about the “Mr.” before; didn’t know you had a PhD) I would be happy to send you the next letter I write for whatever reason. If I know it may be posted as an action alert, I will write it appropriately to be mass-mailed.

A good source for these alerts may be as simple as AmRen’s quite useful daily news articles. For those of you who have visited the site, you know that there are ethnically significant events happening every day in this country and all over the white world. Many times it will be a local dispute over racial hiring preferences, or a local crackdown on illegal immigration. These are ripe issues for a flood of correspondence from white activists. Those mayors and policy makers need to know that the winds of positive change are blowing, and white people actually care about what happens to them. This would be a good way to use the resources of IW and AmRen in conjunction, simply by monitoring those news articles.

Another, more random, suggestion: the appearance of your website(other than a name change) would be greatly helped by drawing the eye to the image of an attractive white family, or even several professional-looking white folks of different genders and ages peering intently over a desk project (suggesting concentrated and positive action to achieve a goal). These are the kinds of images that make one feel at ease when visiting a website, and make one want to be involved. Also, if you notice, they are the kind of images that successful advocacy groups like La Raza, NAACP and other non-ethnic groups use to their advantage.

Even more random observation: In general, it seems to me that white activism needs an attitude adjustment. We need to distance ourselves from the “hate” that gives groups like the SPLC their ammunition against us. This doesn’t mean that we should not call out those that are harming our people, but our words and actions need to start reflecting the kind of world we are fighting for. We could learn a lot from liberals in this regard. Whatever we want to say about them, they are generally driven, community-oriented people. I have been involved in several environmental projects with those on the left, and their spirit for wanting to feel good about what they do is unmatched. A small example: I was digging a hole as a land surveyor on a hot day when a woman came out of the local ACLU office with a cup of ice water for me. This is the kind of small acts that really tell a lot about what someone believes in, and what they are striving for. The left have had a monopoly on these noble sentiments for too long. In short, our emphasis should be more on what we love rather than what we oppose, what needs preserved rather than what needs destroyed. Our message needs to appeal to the high hopes and altruism of every white person, which is of course what draws so many to liberalism. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

It is my understanding that Hispanics in America are predominantly Red Indian Mexicans. Even the 48 percent of American Hispanics who are classified as ‘white’ are believed to have Red Indian ancestry, according to Wikipedia.

I have visited congressional offices in DC 4 times between the 2 AmRen conferences (2006 & 2008), largely on the illegal immigration issue. You do not talk or meet with a congressman or a senator. Instead, you talk with the legislative aide (LA) responsible for the issue. Each congressional office has about 8 or so LA’s. Senate offices probably has 10 or so LA’s. Not all of them are white as some are mulatto, some are blacks, some are Asians (I come from a liberal state). Keep that in mind as one writes letters to their congressional reps, since your letters will be read by those LA’s.
