My new action alert asks readers to e-mail the Senate in support of Senator Jim DeMint’s Complete the Fence Act. Hopefully, the act will force Washington to finally fulfill the mandate for a physical fence along the border. Please do your part by sending the sample e-mail I have written or an original one of your own.

Thanks Taryton.
OK. So that’s one. Can we go for two? Eight or nine people sent each of the previous two action alert e-mails.
If you’re sending these e-mails, please do notify me, even if you’ve notified me of sending previous e-mails. I need to know how much interest there is in the e-mails so I can decide whether to invest in an automatic faxing system at the cost of several thousand dollars per year. Don’t worry—in my current financial condition I can afford it. I wouldn’t expect contributions to compensate for this investment for several years.
If you don’t want to send the e-mails, I’d really like to know why. I promise to listen respectfully and not to bite your head off.
I’ve seen a lot of enthusiasm for the idea of activism on this site, but not a lot for the real thing. I just wonder why.

Senator Stabenow’s reply to my “strong” views:
“Thank you …
. . for contacting me regarding the security along our nation’s borders. I appreciate you taking the time to contact me, and I understand your concerns.
Michigan faces unique security issues as a border state with Canada , including the protection of hundreds of miles of unguarded borders. For this reason, I have fought for increases in resources along our northern border. I have also visited our nation’s southern border with Mexico to view first-hand the major issues there.
Additionally, I have cosponsored legislation that will enhance border security and streamline our nation’s border crossing processes. It is in the best interest of all Americans to have controlled passage through our borders for commerce, trade, personal travel, and for the security of our communities. I will keep your strong views in mind as related legislation comes before me in the Senate for a vote.
Thank you again for contacting my office. As always, please don’t hesitate to contact me whenever I can be of assistance to you and your family.”
Sincerely,
Debbie Stabenow
United States Senator

Ian Jobling notes:
“OK. So that’s one. Can we go for two? Eight or nine people sent each of the previous two action alert e-mails.”
Dr. Jobling, simply consider that if you put up one of these Action Alerts, I have sent a version of it to whichever sociopolitical or socioeconomic entity that has been targeted for an unexpected “enlightenment” on our position of the topic at hand. Like Cassiodorus, I have been sending these types of things in for years; overtime, they have an impact, just look at what Numbers USA and other organizations have done with this amnesty issue. However, the ability to delay gratification must also be prepared for and exercised. Rome was not built in a day, nor will this movement of ours simply smote the leukophobics and chromophilics as if they were some legion of dragons in a fantasy epic, to be effortlessly dispatched by a handful of heroes.
We face a hideous dragoon of Hydras in multiculturalism, and we must be patiently and methodically Herculean in combating them!
To Taryton, regarding:
“I just e-mail both my liberal Senators:- Stabenow and Levin.”
Every time you note who you are writing to, I just want to moan an Ugh!
Sander Levin is an utter fool and his brother Karl Lenin is even worse; how those two have lasted so long in Michigan’s political system, simply proves how corrupt it really is. Of course, that Governor Grandwhore and Senator Slothcow are only more distinctive examples of this unholy situation, compounds the inexplicable phenomenon, of Michigan’s horrifying penchant for electing Red oddballs, to high office.
Of course, the Republicans in Michigan have gone to the dogs in the last decade, without even a second thought or admitted shame; Posthumous and the others, couldn’t inspire a group of kindergartners to move their bowls, if they fed them Exlax. The MCRI debate proved that!
Best wishes Taryton,
John PM!

That’s an interesting response, Taryton. I wonder if the staffer who sent out the form letter e-mail added the word “strong” to customize it.

The responses you sometimes get are often odd. I’ve gotten canned missives from B. Hussein Obama and D. Durbin, the Prairies State’s other corrupt thug senator, in response to my contacting them about last summer’s amnesty bill and the so-called “Dream Act.” Obama said something to the effect of “Since you are interested in this legislation I thought you might like to know that it failed in the Senate,” as though 1)I wouldn’t know that and 2)as though B. Hussein Obama had something to do with its failure. What a weasel.
Durbin preened for four or five paragraphs about “borders,” “security” and the rest before getting to the real point, his support for amnesty for the Dream Act’s target population, younger illegal aliens. His explicit admission that doing what is “fair” for illegal aliens was of more concern than how amnesty would affect actual Americans (ie. people who can legally vote for him) or than whether the Act was “fair” to his constituents was shocking, to me at least. It sickens me to know that these scoundrels are “my” senators.

Yes, Dr. Jobling. By them including “strong” is evidence that at least someone acually read the e-mail.

LOL! I know! Writing my Senators and Rep., is like throwing sand into the wind. However every little bit of help for our side is a move in the right direction.
As bad as my Michigan Senators are, they’re still not as bad as Cassiodorus’ are. Durbin and B.O. Hussein.
BTW— Our Governor in Michigan is Jennifer Granholm. When she got married; instead of taking her husband’s sir name [Mulhern], HE TOOK HER’S!!!!! LOL. What a good little progressive feminist he is.
Actually he is now named, Dan ‘Granholm’ Mulhern, and his wife is Gov. Jennifer ‘Mulhern’ Granholm. What a man! http://inverted-world.com/cms/images/smileys/grin.gif
