Protest free money for black farmers in the farm bill

Today’s new action alert asks readers to e-mail Congress urging them to strip the Pigford Claims Act out of the farm bill currently under consideration in the House and Senate. This act would mean forking out free money to any black person who testifies that the US Department of Agriculture discriminated against him, with no proof required.

I did send an email to my Congressman. Don’t know if it will do anything when chances are I was the ONLY constituent to protest this legislation.
